Drain Channels Specifications

  • LS standard Drain Channels are manufactured to suit clients requirements Typically in 3 different widths as shown
  • They offer a seamless solution to drainage needs in all environments
  • Manufactured from 2mm thick material in either 304 or 316 grade stainless steel
  • The width required is dependant on capacity and flow rates
  • 1:100 fall as standard (this again can be changed to suit specific requirements)
  • Optional Heavy Duty Reinforced edge suitable for Forklift Traffic
  • Terminating in End gully pot or one positioned anywhere along the length of the drain to suit requirement with Horizontal or Vertical Outlet (see gully pots below)

  • upplied in 1 – 3mtr lengths with either flanged joints or we offer a site installation service if fully welded joints are required

Removable Drain Grids/Tops

  • Grids/Tops can be manufactured from a number of different materials and styles
  • All styles are designed to be anti-slip
  • A full range of load bearing grids from pedestrian through to Heavy Duty Forklift type
  • Stainless Steel Grids manufactured in either 304 or 316 Grades
  • GRP grids supplied in either Grey, Green or Yellow with Standard Post Cure Grit (Heavy duty ExtremeCore embedded grit is available for harsh environments).
  • Dependant on environment can be supplied as ‘Drop in’ or fixed in place requiring tools to remove for security.

Case Study

LS Engineering have recently completed the manufacture and installation of a drain project for one of our clients with light weight heavy duty removable GRP drain grid Tops. The Run consisted of 1 central channel with 10 contributaries of varying widths totalling 230 metres with an end depth of 380mm (please see below G.A.). Getting the falls to work based on the depth of the end discharge was certainly a challenge however our skilled team (from design to install) delivered the project on time and within budget.
