Project name: Convenience Food Company
Product: Conveyor & Roller Table
Location: England
Case Study Overview:
Our customer a convenience food company required a new conveyor system for their manufacturing site – A conveyor system with a roller table at the end is typically used for final-stage material handling tasks, such as accumulation, packing, inspection, and sorting. This configuration is common in manufacturing and food processing facilities to streamline the end-of-line process before goods are dispatched or stored. Manufactured on casters so that the station can be easily moved around the factory and used in multiple locations as per customer requirements.
The roller table at the end of the powered conveyor can serve as a buffer or an accumulation zone. It allows finished goods, such as boxes, crates, or totes, to queue up without building pressure against each other. Items can be packaged into cartons and then pushed off the table onto a shipping pallet or inspectors can examine products for quality defects and send them to the next stage or a rejection chute and it can also be used to apply final shipping labels or documentation before items are sent to shipping.
